Today was not to be for the Irish women's team as they lost 2-1 to Canada.
This result means Ireland will not be progressing to the knockout stages of the World Cup.
Here at home fans came together to support the team at various 'Watch Parties' taking place across the country.
Newstalk reporter, Josh Crosbie went along to an event at Dalymount Park to meet with fans, coaches and former Irish players.
