Speaking at a book launch, Tánaiste Micheál Martin has said that he believes the case against Ian Bailey for the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier should have gone before a jury.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs made the comments at the launch of the book ‘Sophie: The Final Verdict’ by journalist Senan Molony in Dublin.
It has led to Sophie’s family calling for a public enquiry.
