Safety fears are preventing women from enjoying sport and three in ten have been harassed whilst exercising. There is an ‘enjoyment gap’ between men and women driven by safety concerns when it comes to running after dark. Research by This Girl Can also found one in five are concerned by sexual harassment when working out.
