The Minister for Justice Helen McEntee has confirmed she is not moving ahead with plans to introduce new hate speech laws saying that it will be dealt with at a later stage as “the incitement to hatred element does not have a consensus”.

Minister McEntee has said she is “...adamant that hate crime legislation will be enacted".
