Show Notes
Over the years, I have heard so many mamas share with me what their Inner Mean Mama sounds like. I know that we, as mamas and women, are so hard on ourselves, often feeling like we're never good enough, or worrying that we're always screwing it up.
And then, when I talk to them about self-compassion and kindness, I see their eyes glaze over. "Yes, yes... I need to be kinder to myself. I get it." But nothing would really change. At the core of it, they didn't know how to be any other way.
So what does self-compassion actually look like? Behind the theory of it, how do you practice self-compassion, day in, day out?
In this episode, I share what self-compassion looks like in my day. This isn't just an idea, it's a way of living - a way of honouring ourselves, and the constant changes we are experiencing as we navigate matrescence.
May it spark new ideas on how you too can start to live with deep self-compassion.
