Show Notes
Yes, of course you're a mother.
And that role affects every single part of your life.
But we don't just show up fresh to mamahood, without our own stories, traumas, dreams and hopes.
Underneath our role as a mama, we're also a whole woman... and unless we allow the time and space to consider what's underneath the day to day reality of mamahood, we often aren't even aware of how our own stories affect what we do.
What if looking 'underneath' motherhood allowed you to see that you're carrying some grief about some parts of your life... and that unspoken and unacknowledged grief was affecting the way you dealt with tantrums or sleep deprivation?
In this podcast episode with Rebecca Rylands - counsellor, circle of security practitioner, and women's facilitator - we explore how to honour who you are underneath all that you do each day... and why understanding yourself in this way is the greatest gift you can bring to those around you.
