HH #435: Parenting and launching kids into their identity with Dave & Ann Wilson

“The goal is not to have a perfect teenager...our goal was that they’d love Jesus and love their neighbor.” This was the interview I needed. Dave and Ann Wilson, founders of a multi-campus church and family coaches, talk all about parenting and launching kids into their identity. Their newest book No Perfect Parents shares easy-to-apply principles that can help foster strong parent-child relationships through adulthood. I always say that being a parent will go down as my hardest job ever, and it’s easy to get caught up in judging my “success” as a parent based on how well my kids turn out. But this episode was a reminder that the best thing we can do for our kids is to not only love them but also constantly remind them of who they are in Christ and what God has the power to do in their lives.
