A Birthday & Anniversary Tribute with Tyler | The Hall Hotline Podcast
In this special episode of The Hall Hotline, I’m joined by my 7-year-old son Tyler for something a little different.
Together, we recorded a short birthday and anniversary surprise for my wife Courtney and shared a song I wrote for her called “21 Years and You.”
It’s a reflection on where we started, the dreams we had when we were young, and the life God has built through our marriage over the past 21 years. From early memories with friends… to raising a family… to dreaming about lake houses, mountain cabins, and someday traveling the country together in an RV — this song is simply about choosing the same person again and again.
And after 21 years, that’s still my choice.
Every time.
Episode Summary
Marriage is built one day at a time, one promise at a time, and one decision at a time. This episode is a personal tribute celebrating 21 years of faith, friendship, family, and commitment. Joined by my son Tyler, we share a birthday message, sing the opening together, and play the full anniversary song written for Courtney.
It’s a reminder that love grows stronger when it’s rooted in faith, gratitude, and shared dreams that keep unfolding year after year.

A Personal Note
Courtney,
Twenty-one years later, I still mean every word I said that day.
And if I had one life to live again…
I’d still choose you.
Thanks for listening today. And remember—stand firm and walk humbly with the Lord. That’s the Hall way. 🎙️
