Comer, Jordan and Steil are very concerned with how Republicans, especially the former President, have been treated by the DOJ with investigation after investigation.
House GOP is concerned that Merrick Garland has politicized the DOJ. Now Alvin Bragg is the most obvious overreach. You’ve got a local DA trying to indict a Presidential candidate that the DOJ passed on for a million reasons 3 or 4 years ago. The way they treated Trump versus the way they’ve treated Joe Biden is probably the biggest example of a two tier system of justice. The actions of this President have put every American in jeopardy. There’s no Homeland Security on the southern border, criminals are going free because of his criminal justice policies, high inflation because Biden’s spending too much, now we have a crisis with our banks because regulators weren’t paying close enough attention to a changing economy. Decision after decision, this Administrations policies have put every American in peril.
