Roe v Wade was the very definition of judicial activism and was so egregiously wrong that the Justices had to overturn it and return the issue to the states. In many states nothing will change but the Dobbs decision gives the states the opportunity to decide for themselves about abortion. Severino says striking down Roe v Wade was a huge step forward, recognizing the Constitution says what it means and means what it says. Chief Justice Roberts still hasn’t found the leaker of the draft Roe decision and that leaker, if a law clerk, stands to receive a $400K bonus thereby profiting from violating the Court’s privacy and confidentiality. Chief Justice Roberts has not been a leader.
