How Unicorn & Coach Rose Pursues Her Passions Of Writing And Traveling Abroad 🗺️
Rose Hedberg is the founder of a writing services company called Ideas Write Now and an avid traveler. Grant writing has provided her with the flexibility to chase her passions: writing and traveling. ✍️ 🧳 Life took a turn when COVID hit and she lost her job. She turned to the Global Grant Writers Collective. Now, she is a Coach for Learn Grant Writing and helped create a writing course for the business to boot!

For Rose, traveling after college was been a transformative experience. She packed her life into a 40L backpack and she started traveling with her husband which turned into 5 years of travel. 🎒 Along the way she learned how to be a writer.

✨ Tips to combat fear of writing not being good enough:
1️⃣ Know every writer faces this.
2️⃣ Writing is an internal process and you just have to jump in.
3️⃣ Grant writing requires you just have to write well: answer the questions, write simple sentences, be concise + clear.
To get into a writing habit, Rose suggests reading, writing, and editing. Figure out what you want in the end. Then, figure out how that fits into your life. 🧩
For those wanting to chase their dream, Rose advises this:
“You are the protagonist of your own story. If it’s not a book that you want to read, then change your story. Be the hero of your own story.” 📖
