Artist Larry Bell is an American legend. His groundbreaking works, including his signature glass cubes, have dazzled collectors and critics for decades. His latest show, at Hauser & Wirth in Los Angeles, explores Bell’s work alongside that of his friend and compatriot, the late John Chamberlain. Dan and Larry speak about his struggles in art school, how he started experimenting with industrial machinery, his memories of the ’60s art scene, and what Chamberlain was like as a friend.
