By taking an honest and critical look at male culture in our society, particularly as it relates to domestic violence, this initiative is designed to shift paradigms and invite men to be part of the solution in ending domestic violence. It is part of the ”It’s Time” initiative of Lexington, Kentucky. Objectives: - To create a safe and open space for men to discuss and reflect on their roles and behaviors in today’s society. - To challenge and dismantle the cultural norms that contribute to domestic violence. - To inspire men to stomp through societal ”glass ceilings” from above and redefine masculinity in a positive and healthy way. - To provide education and resources that empower men to become active participants in the fight against domestic violence.
