Who is the greatest golfer of all time? How often has this question been discussed amongst friends experts pundits and wise people, I can't imagine.
There is no definitive answer to this question we can only express a point of view that we hold and try to justify it the same names generally come into the pot, but different names generally emerge. I was recently asked this question by a group of friends and it started a lively discussion I thought it would be worth my sharing my thoughts on this Evergreen question.
There are players who are incredibly exciting and entertaining who win a few tournaments but will never be listed amongst the greats of the game if we simply use frequency of winning or a number of Majors then that is as close as we can come to a scientific examination but it's never usually that simple, so I have no doubt some of you will agree with me and many of you will not but this light-hearted reflection just gives my thoughts on this question.
