Season 2 is launching with the Celtic New Year, the Astrological New Year and the Spring Equinox. This is the first of the eight fire festivals in the Wheel of the Year. This is the time where we see the exchange of the mantle of light. The Moon has held her reign since Fall Equinox, and now we come to this point in mid-March where the two great lovers, the Sun and the Moon meet in the sky in equal balance, day and night, light and darkness.
Ostara, Eostre and Ishtar are goddesses that rule the spring bringing in fertility, new growth and expansion.
