Imbolc is one of the Sabbats that is celebrated by witches and pagans in the Wheel of the Year. This is the midway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. Candles are traditionally lit to honor the returning of the sun as every day gets a little lighter. The Goddess, Brigid is said to walk the earth on the eve of Imbolc and she is traditionally associated with this holiday.
Discover different ways to honor the gradual return of the light with candles, scarves, corn dollies, herbs, colors, Brigid's cross, and mending anything in your magical cabinet. During any holiday, your intentions are important and Brigid brings her qualities of healing, poetry, protection and blacksmithing.
