Show Notes

Dive deep into the origins of the Red Tent, menstrual huts, birthing caves and womb wisdom. Explore the essence of moon cycles, menstruation and the origin of the Womb Priestess. How can the modern day Red Tent be a source of support, strength and bonding between women? How do we normalize the natural sensuality of women?

Menstrual Huts are still practiced with the Ethiopian Jewish women and the Dogon tribe in Africa who claim to be the descendants of the lost tribe of Dan. The concept of the modern day Red Tent is based on a book by Anita Diamant. In our society we practice moon huts, moon lodges and moon ceremonies where women gather to support each other.
