Blackberry winter is the name for the cold snap that seems to happen every early spring. As soon as the blackberries peek out the temperature takes a quick dive. Felder urges not to plant at the first sign of warm weather, because blackberry winter is usually on the forefront ready to stunt a few of our plants. During this round of southern gardening questions, Felder spreads his brand of optimism mixed with years of horticultural knowledge. Then plays a cheesy tune that focuses on a certain demographic.
