Savannah and Brunswick also hit 75 with a southeast breeze around 7 miles an hour. Eastern Georgia sees the warmest readings. Augusta reaches 78 degrees under sunny skies. Tonight brings a shift. Patchy fog develops after midnight, especially across coastal areas where it could become widespread by early Thursday. Lows bottom out in the mid-50s statewide. And look up tonight — we've got a full moon. One note for folks in Burke. Emanuel. And Jenkins counties. The Ogeechee River at Midville is in minor flood stage. That should recede by Thursday morning. Thursday stays dry and even warmer. Atlanta hits 79. The coast reaches 77 after any morning fog burns off. Eastern Georgia surges to 81 degrees.
