Evangelicalism has seen its better days. God is at work around the world, but the Western world is languishing and the old way of training pastors has fallen on hard times. The agenda for training pastors must not be set by scholars. Where is the spiritual training in the field? Where is the one-on-one discipleship? It’s time to bring a reformation into the preparation of pastors and elders for the next generation of churches.
