The Alabama State Legislature has just voted to do away with the marriage license. Christians are increasingly abandoning the marriage license anyway, and restoring marriage to a rightful jurisdiction of the family. Yet, the church and the state are witnesses. How does this work? How much does a father get involved in the marriage of his daughters?
