Betrayal has become the name of the game for Christians who want to retain freedom of religion and freedom of commerce and contract in this country. Those who stand for principle and freedom no doubt will remember the names of Mike Pence and Nathan Deal for generations to come. But what should Christians do in the face of increased persecution in the workplace, the marketplace, and the church? Get louder. Follow through on the advice of Richard Wurmbrand. In the Romanian prisons, he says, they made a deal. We preached, and they beat us. American icons, including Disney, the NBA, and the NFL, are turning on Christians now. What do Christians have to do with these icons? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? We grapple with these questions on this edition of Generations.
