Do we need more rants about how bad things are? The prophets are criticized for their warnings and honest descriptions of the present evil age. But what is the proper reaction? Passivity? Paralysis? Depression? Vigilantism? Agitation? Anxiety? Despair? Political action? More endless harangues and deprecating commentaries on the radio? We resolve this question by urging confidence in God's sovereignty and God's perfect judgment, and the need for repentance and faith in a faithless and perverse generation.
