About Wasim Munayyer
Wasim started his career working for technology recruiting firms in his home state of New Jersey as well as one of the largest firms in NYC. Later he joined Yusen Logistics, tasked with driving corporate recruitment for their North America business. It was in those years Yusen still had 3 divisions; Domestic Transportation, Freight Forwarding, and Contract Logistics. Making over 200 hires in 2 years across 3 divisions offered a thorough introduction into multimodal logistics. Wasim also lead corporate recruiting at Ports America for 2 years, adding a layer of knowledge in terminal/port operations.
Being on the client end of the recruiting firm relationship for 4 years in this industry, Wasim realized that the industry was evolving into a space that would demand technology driven supply chain talent and that there was not a search firm out there which offered this blended niche talent.
