At her lowest point, Lara Love Hardin was called a "neighbor from hell." After being arrested and charged with 32 counts of identity theft, Lara spent 10 months in a county jail. It was during her time behind bars that Lara was exposed to the harsh realities of incarceration - but it was also there that she was able to find her voice. While her life turned upside down, her story was just beginning.
Author and co-founder of The Gemma Project Lara Love Hardin shares her story of overcoming her criminal record and rebuilding a new life, as detailed in her memoir, The Many Lives of Mama Love.
