Many cases go unsolved due to a lack of evidence left at the crime scene. Despite technological advancements throughout the years, DNA collection remains a difficult feat. However, one company has developed breakthrough forensic technology that's capable of bringing answers to decades-old crimes.
President and CEO of M-Vac Systems and host of the All Things Crime podcast Jared Bradley explains the science behind the M-Vac. This high-powered wet vacuum extracts DNA materials from complicated surfaces. He discusses how he's been able to integrate the technology with various law enforcement agencies.
Later, Jared reflects on two tragic murders that occurred decades ago and explains how the M-Vac was used to bring answers and justice to these cold cases.
