The disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa remains one of the greatest mysteries in American history. The legendary labor leader, who had been president of the Teamsters Union, vanished this week in 1975. At the time of Hoffa's disappearance he was again running to be union president but this time he vowed to get the mafia out of the union.
