Show Notes
Chelsea FC has been in the news a bit more than some other Premier League clubs recently. Their ownership has been a hot topic for almost two months now, as Roman Abramovich, a well-known Russian oligarch, was sanctioned by the British Government following the invasion of Ukraine. On the positive end of things, the men's first team just placed into the FA Cup Final for the third season in a row, where they will look to vindicate themselves for two straight Finals losses. So what better time than RIGHT NOW to share a conversation Mike & Colin had with Chelsea in America member, and Charm City Blues chapter head, Phil Williams?!
Mike, Colin, & Phil discuss all things Chelsea, including the perks of being a part of an official supporters group for a team abroad, Phil's experience as a Chelsea fan in the 90's, his feelings on being called a "plastic," and of course, his thoughts on the club's current ownership saga.
