Right now, dangerous rip currents are affecting beaches along Florida's Atlantic and Gulf coasts, with multiple Rip Current Statements in effect. These powerful currents can pull even strong swimmers away from shore, so beach safety is critical today. We started cool this morning with temperatures bottoming out at 66 degrees around 5 A.M.
