Your midday Florida weather update
Twenty rip current statements are in effect across Florida's beaches today, creating dangerous swimming conditions from the Panhandle down to the Keys. These powerful currents can sweep even strong swimmers out to sea in seconds. This Thursday starts mild at 67 degrees, but thunderstorms will develop late tonight around 11 P.M.
