The front is stalling. That means rounds of showers and thunderstorms tonight and right through Saturday. Some of these storms mean business. We're talking gusty winds up to 50 miles an hour, frequent lightning. and small hail. The kind of afternoon where your car alarm goes off and you just shrug. So where's the action? North Florida got hit first. Jacksonville topped out at 69 degrees today with showers already rolling through. Tonight, lows drop to 50 degrees as the front parks itself overhead. Saturday, the rain finally tapers and cooler, drier air sneaks in behind it. Slide south to Tampa Bay. You hit 77 degrees today with scattered storms. Tonight stays unsettled with lows near 60 degrees. Saturday morning brings lingering showers before skies start to clear.
