Workday Round 1 Recap: Morikawa leads, Tiger commits to Memorial (7/9)

We’ve got Greg DuCharme and Mark Immelman on the podcast to breakdown what clicked today for the young phenom (0:51). Someone that spent time social distancing behind the pack was Brooks Koepka. The four-time major champion did major damage control by posting a Toal score of 74 after shooting 41 on his first nine. Does Brooks have any hope to make the cut (6:40)? Phil Mickelson stole the afternoon spotlight. Lefty was seemingly on his was to be well clear of the cut after posting a 32 on the front. That was all erased when he came into the clubhouse with a 41 on his second nine. What does Phil need to do in order to make the weekend (10:03)? After the ad break we chat about Big Cat’s announcement today that he will be playing in the Memorial next week. What kind of rust, if any, can we expect to see from Tiger Woods (17:15)?
