Episode 14: Mike Cocking of OCM Golf
Mike Cocking and his partners Geoff Ogilvy and Ashley Mead are the directors and design partners in OCM Golf. Their company has touched many of Australia's classic courses such as Kingston Heath, Victoria, Royal Queensland, Lake Karrinyup and Royal Canberra. OCM has been in the process of expanding their reach into North America, where an initial commission in Shady Oaks in Texas has led to additional projects at Medinah #3 and greenfield projects in Minnesota and an as yet secret sand based development somewhere in the South-East of the United States.

It took a while to track him down, however, Mike Cocking from OCM Golf in Melbourne joins me on this episode to take a magical mystery tour through his design back catalogue including RACV Healesville, St Andrews Beach, Victoria, Peninsula Kingswood, Sandy Links and Shady Oaks.
I also manage to prise some exciting news from him on a number of new Australian and US projects.

If you're interested in Ben Hogan, I would recommend Connor T. Lewis' podcast on the 'The Wee Ice Mon'. It answers Mike's question as to whether Hogan should have an additional major title added to his resumé.
