(00:00 – 20:55) – The show begins with Jake getting schooled on how to watch the first NFL “Amazon Prime” game this season. Then Marc and Jake discuss the MLB history made between Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina last night as they achieve the most starts as a battery with a total of 325. More Cardinals history is brought up as they discuss Albert Pujols nearing 700 home runs. Jake relays a story from his St. Louis reporting days about Pujols hitting a ball so hard it bent a gloves rubber. A Ty Hilton tease for the next segment.

(20:56 – 26:50) – Morning Checkdown

(26:51 – 33:20) – The first hour closes out with talk of Ty Hilton and his likely departure from the Colts as a “Thank you for the memories” banner is now hung outside of Lucas Oil Stadium. Then the show plays some audio from Reich’s recent press conference. Reich discusses the decision to finally cut Rodrigo Blankenship and if Chase McLaughlin’s prior experience as a Colt played a factor in his return to the team. Audio is played of Reich giving the teams mentality going into week 2.

(33:21 – 58:06) – The second hour begins with Jake relaying a promise that co-host Kevin Bowen, who is on paternity leave, will change diapers for a year if the Colts lose their upcoming game in Jacksonville. Then the calls start to roll in as Colts fans call in to give their opinion on Sunday’s game. Callers discuss the teams ability to execute without relying on their kicker, the improvements to Jacksonville’s team and how they will not be as easy to beat as some fans might think. Whatever happened to Badgley from last year? Jake relays the story of how he met Brett Favre’s cousin as a volunteer for habitat for humanity.

(58:07 – 1:20:08) – The Indianapolis Star’s Dustin Dopirak, beat writer for IU Athletics joins the show and talks about the school’s upcoming football schedule. Dopirak gives his opinion on IU quarterback Connor Bazelak in his two games as the Hoosier’s quarterback so far. Jake takes a quick detour to ask about Dopirak’s opinion on the Purdue/Syracuse game. A quick conversation on IU’s recruiting struggles when they are losing. Dopirak then details the way Tom Allen gets leeway with people due to his contagious positive attitude.  

(1:20:09 – 1:50:45) – The final hour opens with Jake and Mark trading stories about their integration into Indy sports and their perception of the fans over time. Marc originally being from Illinois with an out of state perspective and Jake with a native perspective. Jake talks about how certain sports curate fandoms differently. Then Zack Keefer of WISH TV and The Atheltic calls in to talk Colts upcoming football game. Keiffer lays out who will potentially be filling in for Alec Pierce who is out on concussion protocol for Week 2.
