Dopirak gives his opinion on IU quarterback Connor Bazelak in his two games as the Hoosier’s quarterback so far. Jake takes a quick detour to ask about Dopirak’s opinion on the Purdue/Syracuse game. A quick conversation on IU’s recruiting struggles when they are losing. Dopirak then details the way Tom Allen gets leeway with people due to his contagious positive attitude.
(22:02 – 52:38) – The final hour opens with Jake and Mark trading stories about their integration into Indy sports and their perception of the fans over time. Marc originally being from Illinois with an out of state perspective and Jake with a native perspective. Jake talks about how certain sports curate fandoms differently. Then Zack Keefer of WISH TV and The Atheltic calls in to talk Colts upcoming football game. Keiffer lays out who will potentially be filling in for Alec Pierce who is out on concussion protocol for Week 2.
