This great chapter of the Bible tells us a wonderful story of a single faithful prophet dueling with 450 false prophets. Elijah demonstrated that the God of Israel is the one true God, and He is above all others. We rejoice in this victory, even though we find ourselves often struggling against seemingly impossible odds, because it reminds us of God's mighty power to save.
