ASHTON APPLEWHITE is an author, speaker and major influencer in the field of ageism and age discrimination. We talk about how cultural attitudes about aging influence us in the workplace, advertising, corporate bottom line and our health and well-being. Her book "This Chair Rocks: A Manifesto Against Ageism." is a powerful message about the cost to our culture which ageism presents. She talks about how we can all become aware of our learned biases and beliefs about aging and how we can best adapt and thrive in the place we are all headed.
