Johnny HODL is a freedom advocate, podcast host, and digital nomad originally from the United Kingdom. In 2021 he decided to permanently leave the UK after becoming disenfranchised by that government's authoritarian covid policies. He now lives on the sunny Mexican Pacific coast, where he continues to work remotely in the Bitcoin industry.   TODAY'S CONVERSATION WITH JOHNNY HODL Listen to Johnny describe the evolution of his political views and how adopting Bitcoin in 2016 led him to a more freedom-oriented philosophy. Johnny explains what was the exodus point that prompted him to permanently leave his home country of the United Kingdom. Hear Johnny and I discuss the hubris displayed by many in the West supporting lockdowns while many of those in the developing world didn’t have the convenience of “just staying home.” We examine why the “soft admission” of guilt over the COVID narrative isn’t enough of a recanting from those supporting it. Johnny and I talk about the lack of ethics in the COVID policies implemented and why even if all the data were correct, it would still be a major ethical violation to enforce lockdowns, vaccine mandates, etc. Listen to Johnny describe how, once you take the “red pill” regarding the nature of government, it’s hard not to see government at every level as a monopoly on violence. I drive home the notion that after 23 years of travelling the world and visiting over 100 countries, voting with your feet, i.e. being an expat and utilizing offshore markets, is absolutely hands down the best solution I have ever found. We discuss how governments around the globe are starting to close their doors in various ways - including the looming threat of CBDCs. Johnny provides his view of what “sovereignty” is and how others can reclaim more of their sovereignty as he has by seeking out more freedom abroad. Johnny and I both reflect on how, once taking personal responsibility for every single aspect of your life and respect natural law, life simply gets better. Today, I am going to share a conversation I had on The Tom Woods Show. This interview has gotten such a great response since it first aired that I wanted to share it here with you to make sure you didn't miss it. I explain to Tom exactly what FATCA - the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act - is and how it works, and why it’s even caused some Americans to go as far as to renounce their U.S. citizenship! Today I am going to recap the last incredible week in Panama, beginning with a hugely informative conference for private clients and culminating in my 40th birthday party. The last week has been unbelievable. Clients flew in from every corner of the world, literally from everywhere. Today I want to go back to basics and ensure that everybody understands the terms we discussed so that you can make the right decision for yourself and your family if you decide to become an Expat and plan for the future. I realize that not everyone understands the verbiage and lexicon that immigration entails. There are many different types of immigration visas; there is not a one size fits all approach to this.   IMMIGRATION BACK TO BASICS Confused about the lexicon or language when it comes to immigration? Many people are. This is the episode that you won’t want to miss. I start with the most basic language, so you’ll fully comprehend and understand it. I discuss the difference between temporary and permanent residencies and why they are so important to understand. The next step up is citizenship. What does this mean? What must you do or complete to become a citizen in a new country? Are you thinking about starting a family or having additional children? Listen as I talk about birth tourism and what it can mean for you and your family. One of my main focuses is on Residency by Investment. What does that look like, and how can you obtain one? What is a Golden Visa? You may have heard this phrase. The next piece of information I cover is Citizenship by Investment. The countries that offer it, and why I believe it is so important. Today’s guest is Congressman Dr. Ron Paul. Author, activist, physician and retired politician. Dr. Paul has had an incredible career, beginning in the 1960s as an OBYN into the 1980s, delivering somewhere around 4,000 babies in rural south Texas. In 2015 the former 12-term US Congressman from Texas launched the Liberty Report to discuss his provocative opinion and to analyze breaking issues affecting our lives and finances, and it is still going strong today.
