2022年3月11日，一位匈牙利天文學家發現了一顆正往地球接近的天體，便立刻向NASA通報。
一個小時後，歐洲太空總署正式發表：「有一顆小行星一小時內擊中地球的機率是100%」。
NASA一直有在做相關的規劃，其中一個計畫叫做「π終端行星防禦系統」。
該計畫是由加州大學聖塔芭芭拉分校物理系的教授提出。
本集以一部名為「千萬別抬頭」的電影，聊聊科學家如何防衛「小行星」撞擊地球！
