科學家在進行低溫實驗時，若樣品沒有保持在低溫狀態，樣品就會受到熱能量干擾，進而影響觀測。
溫度指的就是組成物質的原子或分子做沒有秩序的運動，其運動強度的強弱。
科學家發現部分物質在極低溫的狀態時，會產生「超導現象」，這也是量子效應的一種。
