Natural Point of Aim, it's less influence recoil management. Its rifle pointed to the target, body pointed to the rifle. We can almost overlook it in the prone, but once you get to alternate positions it really makes a difference.
By understanding how the fundamentals of marksmanship apply to each position, the cause and effect, you can then build better positions.
The downside is, it requires practice, it's not something you can take for granted.
