Lots of trial dates set, but we will see if any of them stick. Bryan Kohberger is set to start trial in August 2025, and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is set for trial in May 2025. It’s unlikely that Diddy will go to trial in May as scheduled due to the amount of digital evidence in the case. Diddy is still trying to be released from custody and is asking to have his appeal argued in early November.

Even when cases go to trial, it doesn’t mean they are done as Alec Baldwin has been learning. Prosecutor Kerri Morrissey is still pursuing her motion to have the court reconsider dismissing Baldwin’s case with prejudice. That isn’t set for hearing yet. Hopefully, we will get a hearing date soon.

In a surprise move that avoids a trial altogether the CFO of Girardi Keese, Christopher Kamon, took a plea deal and pleaded guilty on October 11th, 2024, with a sentencing date not set yet.
