We also discuss the status of the Republican long-game to undermine democracy, specifically as it relates to redrawing congressional maps. Recently, Republicans attempted to apply a fringe constitutional theory called Independent State Legislature doctrine to further weaken voting rights in a few key states; Lala Wu explains why this strategy failed in the short-term, but may be a concern in the long run.
