Instead of "Creation And Fall" think "Creation and Attack" for Genesis 2-3. When we focus on the Attack we begin to see the differences between the two humans at the tree. Both were attacked. One had to be tricked into eating. The other was recruited into a knowing rebellion against God. One was a second-degree eater. One was a first-degree eater.
