This passages is about Witnessing Spouses. Peter advises unequally yoked wives in verses 1-6, the unequally yoked husbands in verse 7. Key idea: If these men are not wise in how they live with these unsaved wives their prayers for their soon salvation will be hindered.

KEY IDEA. The husbands first referred to in 1 Peter 3:1 need to be "won" to Christ. Then in verse 7 Peter begins with the Greek word for "Likewise." Their wives needed to be won to Christ as well.
There has been much speculation about the meaning of these verses. Most of it misses the mark. Much of it espouses incorrrect theology. It is time to recognize this is simply the longest passage on unequally yoked spouses in the Epistles.
