In last week's episode, we talked about how plants weren't just important as food, medicine, and shelter to our ancient ancestors, but they were a key part of the entire religious experience in people's lives. Today, I have an amazing guest who's dedicated her life to researching and sharing the hidden, and largely suppressed stories about women's spiritual lives in ancient times. Author and researcher, Max Dashu, founded the Suppressed Histories Archives in 1970 to research and document global women's history. I recently read her book called witches and pagans, women in European folk culture 700 to 1100. In this episode, Max shares her earliest memories of plants in her life, what brought her to this research, why she chose to focus her book on such a specific time period and what was happening during that time, examples of sacred rituals the church was intent to separate people from, what we've lost in our culture as a result of this disconnection from the sacred rituals of our ancestors, and more. Welcome back to this week's episode of The Earth Keepers Podcast and the very last episode of 2021. We have been walking through a transformational gateway since December 12th and we are being prepared for the next level of our collective ascension. Continue to rest when you can. Speaking of taking notes, this is not always my strong suit - as you'll hear in this final discussion of the series of conversations I had on Zoom last month with Earth Tenders Academy students that we called Inspirations for Healing the Earth. In this episode, I chat with Heather Clark, Sarah Powers and Dawn Williams, a group of reiki healers from Nova Scotia who teamed up to do some work with the land on the powerful Arcadian Ley Line that runs through that area. In their work, they discovered an ancient stone circle at a site called Green Oaks that makes connections to the Knights Templar, Rosslyn Chapel, the Marys and Merlin. After a few sessions, they invited me to join them, remotely, as they needed someone to stand on the stone called the stone of sacrifice. Because of course, nobody else wanted to volunteer to stand on that stone! It's a funny conversation where we all recount that experience and wonder why we didn't take better notes, but I think you'll enjoy it all the same. In today's podcast episode, we're continuing with a series of conversations I had on Zoom last month with Earth Tenders Academy students that we called Inspirations for Healing the Earth. This particular conversation with Amber Mehresh is a real brain bender and I think you're going to love it. Amber joined the Earth Tenders Academy in Spring 2020. During the month of November, I had the pleasure of hosting a series of calls on Zoom with Earth Tenders Academy students that we called Inspirations for Healing the Earth. As it is Thanksgiving this week here in the United States, I wanted to reshare last year's Thanksgiving episode with you. This month we've been focusing on The Great Awakening; what exactly it is, what are we experiencing in our environment, and what's next. While I don't claim to have all the answers, I hope these episodes have at least given you some insights into what is happening on our planet at the moment. Welcome back to this week's episode of The Earth Keepers Podcast and happy September! You may or may not have noticed that the podcast has been on hiatus the last few weeks. After putting the podcast on hiatus for the past few weeks, I came to realize that what I expected to want to talk about and share upon my return is totally different from what I've been sitting with. I know it sounds like a depressing discussion, but our culture's deep desire to ignore and avoid death at all costs is honestly a big part of the problem. It's the last week of July and that means it's our last "official" week to work with our special place in nature. Eclipse season is behind us now. Mercury is stationing direct this week and it's officially summer. For the rest of this month, starting with this episode, I'll be sharing some shorter episodes I'm calling SUMMER SCHOOL. I know the school year just wrapped up in most parts of the world, but when you're learning about a topic you love, you don't really mind if it extends a bit into your summer vacation. This week is the third episode in a 3-part series where I've been sharing about the changes I've experienced since the winter solstice and grand conjunction. Last week I shared a pretty in-depth explanation of how sacred knowledge from the time of Atlantis has been passed along for thousands of years through space and time and is still being used today. I shared with you a few weeks back that I was in the process of doing a big group of property readings in a short period of time. What I had intended to be 10 readings in two weeks turned out to be 17 readings in three weeks. When I had been guided to do this, I knew it was for a reason. Over the past few weeks, there's been a topic rolling around in the back of my mind. It has to do with the idea of being in isolation versus being in community. Obviously, we've had a lot of practice over the past year with isolation. But, I'm not here today to talk about the politics, or the science, or what's right or wrong, or what's true or wrong. I get asked about the energy of weather all the time and, if you would have asked me about this a few years ago, I would've given you a pretty simplistic answer about working with the energy of storms. Lately, I've been feeling as if I've just been dropped off here on Earth and left to fend for myself. I'm so excited to say that spring has sprung here in Montana. The grey skies of winter have been a thing of the past these past few weeks and have been replaced by blue skies, sunshine, and big fluffy clouds. Now, I've lived here long enough to know that it's highly unlikely that we've seen our last snow of the year. So, I'm only just now starting seeds for my summer garden. As we move into the energetic new year this Saturday and there is a lot of energy swirling right now leading up to Spring Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere. When doing healing work, it can sometimes be frustrating to feel like we just keep getting pulled back to work on the same issue time and again. When I tuned into the energy of 2021 at the beginning of January and asked my guides what would be the most important information to share with you these first few months of the year, they told me it was important to go even deeper into vibration and frequency. Happy New Year, Earth Keepers! We did it! We're in 2021! I had a tough time deciding the topic of this week's episode, but I ultimately landed on sharing my experiences from this past June when I worked deeply with the Bigfoot elders in an area called Krause Basin. I've shared bits and pieces of that experience in the past, but I only recently realized how much I haven't shared and how vulnerable it feels to share the full story. In fact, after I put together all my notes for this episode, I wasn't sure I even wanted to record it. But there are beautiful nuggets of wisdom from that time that are just sitting in my notebook when they could be shared with you. So, here we are. For those of us in the United States, Thanksgiving is two days away and the energy around this holiday is complicated for reasons many still aren't aware of. This week, we're actually diving deep into some more esoteric topics that I've actually never shared about on my blog or this podcast. The reason I've decided to do this is because, while I do spend a lot of time working directly with the different spirits and energies present on the land itself, sometimes we need to zoom way out to have more context about the greater landscape and understand how things function on a multidimensional level. Every piece of land typically has ancestor spirits of some kind present and, while they're not always actual Earthbound spirits, they are all an important part of the spiritual landscape of the land.
