Session 213, December 1, 1965: Go-Go Girls, Festive Vibes, and Psychic Batteries

Grab a cold one and relax, because this session started with Jane and Rob hitting a neighborhood tavern to watch some go-go girls before getting down to psychic business. Even Seth was feeling the "chilling" vibes, giving a cosmic thumbs-up to their little pre-session party.

The Tavern Pre-Game and Breaking Routine

Before the channeling began, Jane (Ruburt) and Rob (Joseph) decided to spice things up. Instead of the usual quiet prep, they grabbed a beer and enjoyed some local entertainment.

  • Seth totally approved of the detour, noting: "It is perfectly all right now and then to vary your schedule in this manner, and probably all in all most beneficial."
  • He mentioned that varying the room and the routine helps keep the energy fresh.
  • Jane was getting "messages" of approval from the "certain party" (Seth) even while at the bar, just as long as they made it back for the technical "Instream" material.

The Christmas Spirit: Recharging the Soul

With the holidays approaching, Seth dropped some heavy but hopeful truth bombs about the Christmas season.

  • The Psychic Battery: Seth explained that the holiday season generates massive amounts of constructive psychic energy. He noted, "As you both suppose, enough constructive psychic energy is generated during the holiday season to recharge psychic batteries, so to speak, for quite some time."
  • Idealism vs. Action: Seth acknowledged that while there’s a gap between Christian ideals and human actions, the world would be in a "much more serious predicament" without these yearly affirmations.
  • Symbolism over History: Seth clarified that while the Virgin Birth and Crucifixion aren't historical facts, they are "symbolic realities" and "intrinsically true" in a psychic sense.
  • The Christ Figure: Seth described the personality of Christ as an idealization that stresses "best qualities of the race as a whole," focusing on human traits rather than strictly "male" ones.

The "Dr. Instream" and Envelope Tests

Seth spent time proving his chops with some specific "remote viewing" style hits regarding a Dr. Instream and a sealed envelope.

  • The Doctor's Day: Seth visualized the doctor in a room below ground level with straight-backed chairs, drinking coffee, and trying to get answers from a younger man.
  • Specific Hits: He correctly identified a business dinner costing $4.75 and a biography the doctor received about a 19th-century medium.
  • The 19th Envelope Test: Seth picked up on "a connection with water" (linked to their Water Street address and Florida beaches) and "horizontal lines" (the postmark on the envelope).
  • The Past: He correctly identified a connection to an "unpleasant event" involving a male individual (Jane’s father) during a trip to Florida.

Who’s Listening?

For those who aren't into traditional religion, Seth offered a pretty cool take on prayer.

  • "And as far as prayer is concerned... someone does indeed listen. The self who prays listens, and makes necessary adjustments and improvements."
  • He reminded Rob and Jane that every individual is a part of "All That Is," possessing the ability to transcend physical time and space.
