They were all sitting on the floor around a coffee table, holding hands, and trying some ESP experiments. Jane was lying flat on her back, trying to relax, when suddenly—boom—Seth decided to join the party.

• The Party Crasher: Seth admitted he’d been hanging out all evening. He teased the group for their "poor method" of experimentation if they didn't want him showing up, noting that Jane is basically hard-wired to bring him through whenever they look for "discarnate entities."
• Seth the "Fuddy-Duddy": Seth was in high spirits, loving the informal atmosphere. He joked about his usual teaching style: "If indeed I still sound like a lecturer, and somewhat of an old fuddy-duddy, it is because old rockhead Ruburt continues in his own ways, as is to be expected."
• Past Life Drama in Denmark: Seth reminded Rob (Joseph) of a past life in Denmark—one Rob is apparently a bit "ashamed" of—where he was involved with Judy. In that life, Judy was actually a male sailor.
• The 1602 English Connection: The guests, Lee and Judy, were brother and sister in 1602 England (family name: Manheuton). Lee was apparently a bit of a "cruelly-natured" guy with gambling debts who wronged his sister.
• No Cosmic Debt Collectors: Seth clarified that reincarnation isn't about forced "payment" or suffering. It’s about personal growth: "I do not speak in terms of payment... I speak in terms of his own choice. For his own development he chose to make up, because of a past lack of sensitivity."
• Physical Receipts: Seth accurately picked up on a physical marker for Lee, mentioning an injury to the "forefinger of the left hand." After the session, Lee revealed he had a scar on that exact finger from a childhood injury.
• The Breakthrough: Seth called the night a breakthrough because the emotional closeness allowed him to drop the heavy "lecturer" act: "I would sit with you now as a friend at the party and converse, but it is a trifle difficult... I must sort of hit you over the head with [the material]. If I did not hit you over the head with it I’m afraid that you would not get it at all."

Jane’s "Psychological Time" Perks

In the days surrounding this session, Jane had some pretty wild "psy-time" experiences, including:

• Visions of a road with white guardposts and a feeling of high-speed travel.
• The literal feeling of being "ready to leave her body."
