Sheila and I have a lot of parallels. We become instant friends on the unlikeliest of episodes. Sheila is the owner and developer of a new drywall product called Mudd Skip. This product is revolutionary and very cool to work with. They were nice enough to send me some product to try out with Fresco Harmony and I have to say it works great! If you don't know Joe Koenig of Trim-Tex I recommend listening to this episode. Joe is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, and has been a champion of Fresco Harmony for over a decade. We dive head first into the history of Trim-Tex drywall products and their beginnings when Joe Senior migrated from Yugoslavia. Both Joes are impressive business men and this episode acknowledges that. If you've been curious about Trim-Tex and how they came to be, this episode will be extremely enjoyable for you. Ep 120Brad Hanna - Part 2

We welcome Brad Hanna back onto The Drywall Podcast after two years but it didn't occur to me that his first interview was only 19 minutes. After a reconnection at the CSR Black Friday Event in Vaughn ON we decided we better reconnect and get more of the story. We talk a lot about the early days of influencers on social media and where social media has gone today. We discuss the tools and we also talk some about religion. Brad is a real talker and so am I so this episode worked out just fine for the both of us and I hope it works out well for you too on this, the 118th episode of The Drywall Podcast. Ep 119Monica Schafer and Jud Togerson - Paonia Property Services

What an absolute pleasure it was having Monica and Jud on the show. It's nice to get a perspective of Fresco Harmony from a couple of pros why aren't exactly in the drywall industry. That's right... Monica and Judy are the first professional painters to grace The Drywall Podcast and I couldn't be more lucky. Not only are they extremely professional at what they do, they aren't scared to try something new. We talk about their first experience with Fresco Harmony, the housing industry in Paonia and how Monica found herself loving life in a small Colorado community. There's lots of laughs and lots of great information on this, the 117th, episode of The Drywall Podcast. This episode of The Drywall Podcast was brought to you by CSR Building Supply. Ep 118Stephen Genkens - Big Dawg Drywall Part 2

It's always a pleasure to talking with Big Dawg but getting to sit down with him a second time was special. Recently Big Dawg went through some life difficulties when he was injured on the job and had to move his fiancé and child. We talk about the challenges of running a business and how these circumstances led him to turn to a higher power for strength to move forward. Stephen is amazing in the face of difficulty and has shown that he has what it takes to be a leader in drywall and in life. Big Dawg brings it real in this episode of The Drywall Podcast. Ep 117James Weihoenig - Morph Sanding Solutions

I'm so glad James reached out to me. He's one of those people who you just connect with right away. He's extremely intelligent, well spoken, and has a dynamic skill set that has enabled him to take an idea and develop a product in his garage that just might revolutionize the way sanding is done in the drywall industry. He's very funny and we get into the weeds on the industry, marketing, and how it came to be that he is now a product developer. Ep 116Cid Mauricio - Drywall Finisher For You

Mauricio was referred to me by the kind folks at Solid Drywall. He began doing drywall after he moved up to Toronto and his uncle Sol showed him the ropes. Shortly after starting his own company he started on social media showing his work because he looked so young that people questioned his ability to achieve jobs. That little social media experience catapulted his following to over 242K on Instagram and 139K followers on Facebook. He's a fantastic guy to talk to and listening to on this, the 114th episode of The Drywall Podcast. This episode of The Drywall Podcast is brought to you by Fresco Harmony. Ep 115ItsYaManKam - Tribute

On this episode we pay tribute to a drywall legend. Kameron Brown known as itsyamankam passed away on Tuesday October 1st after working on a drywall project in Effingham IL. Kam was a pivotal figure in the drywall space and friends with anyone who had the pleasure of coming into contact with him. I was lucky enough to be with him on his last day and I feel it's important to tell my story from this perspective. This is the very first solo podcast by Nick Harmon explaining the profound relationship between Kam and myself, what happened on Oct 1st and what we can do as a drywall community to ensure his legacy lives on. I miss my friend but his stories and impact is still very much alive in our hearts. We remember that legacy on this, the 113th episode of The Drywall Podcast. RIP Kam we love you!!!

Once again we meet up with Jason Marshall after a long hiatus to discuss a little trouble he had with a contractor. We talk about the importance of having a sound contract and how creating a procedure document for his clients has helped Jam's Drywall become more successful. Jason is a great guy and I always enjoy talking with him but this one is fantastic. I hope you get as much good information out of this episode, Episode 112, as I did. I finally got a chance to catch up with Steph of Teek Interiors. If you don't know who Steph Abbott is just head over to her Instagram page @teekinteriors and give her a like. We also discuss her last year of recovery from drugs and alcohol and how that freedom has lead her to some pretty extraordinary opportunities in the drywall community. Chris and I go back 10 years to the Drywall Talk days. Chris happened upon Fresco Harmony and decided to try it out. Shortly after we met up in Vegas at Intex and had a great time. He doesn't do the most Fresco Harmony but he's always been a huge supporter and a fantastic finisher. Ep 109Spencer Dahlen - Dysylvia Drywall & Construction

Spencer may not be the most influential person on the internet right now but what he lacks in influence he makes up for in heart. We connected when Spencer reached out a couple weeks ago about some Fresco Harmony questions he had. I wrangled him onto the podcast because we had such a great conversation. Spencer is 30 and has been running his own business in Kalispell MT and is looking to diversify with Fresco Harmony. I've never seen someone who's never done Fresco Harmony so excited about the potential. Needless to say we talk a lot about Fresco Harmony but we also get into the importance of work life balance. Ep 106Allison and Kaila Gilbert - Gilbert Taping

I'm excited about this one. Kaila and Allison are the quintessential influencers but it wasn't always that way. It wasn't until Allison saw a video by JWOL that she got inspired to begin making videos on TikTok and that vision turned into a 170K following on Instagram. Being influential is just the tip of the iceberg for these young and ambitious women in the trade. They continue to innovate and grow with brands and new technologies that make their business strong. I was blown away by these two and I hope you will be too on this, the 104th episode of The Drywall Podcast. We have Lee Goldman back once again to finish what he started on episode one. Now that we've established him as a major product player in part one we can take a deep dive into the world of the Wet & Stick and find out for once and for all why this innovative idea, that had ample support, and backing, didn't have the good fortune to turn the Drywall Industry on it's head. We discuss his marketing and unique strategy for pioneering the product while searching for a better understanding on Lee's strategic relationships may have suffered as a result of a manufacturing defect. Ep 85Lee Goldman - Wet & Stick Part 1

Lee Goldman is one of those interviewees who comes along once in a blue moon. He's unique, smart, and knows how to tell a good story. I was interested in Lee for quite awhile because his product called the Wet and Stick kept coming up on other podcasts and I found it to be an intriguing idea. I didn't know how far down the rabbit hole went. The more we talk the more I realize there's more to this story than meets the eye. We dive head first into Lees extensive background in the fashion industry working underneath giants like Ralph Lauren. Lees path lead him to the drywall industry and finally to The Drywall Podcast where we have one of the best talks two entrepreneurs could have on this, the 82nd episode of The Drywall Podcast.
