<p>During the Starting Five, Tim Donnelly and producer Graham Hill discussed Nyheim Hines season-ending injury, The Open championship this past weekend, ECU football head coach Mike Houston reporting another team for tampering, the sale of the Charlotte Hornets being approved by the NBA Board of Governors, and why importance of the 2023 Duke's Mayo Classic between North Carolina and South Carolina.</p>
<p>Also, it does appear that the Carolina Hurricanes are closing in on signing Tony DeAngelo from the Philadelphia Flyers to a one-year deal. The deal is with about $1.66 million which makes him whole after the Flyers bought him out. </p>
